THE SEASON SO FAR

Jordan Hawkins opened the 2025-26 season mired in a brutal shooting slump, struggling to justify his bench minutes with empty offensive trips. During a miserable 10/27 vs BOS outing, he tossed up a barrage of bricks to finish with zero points on 0-for-5 shooting. This erratic shot selection killed his team's momentum and resulted in a dismal -9.7 Impact score. Things bottomed out completely on 11/11 vs PHX. He managed just a single point and missed all three of his attempts from the floor, generating a hideous -12.8 Impact score because his complete lack of scoring gravity allowed defenders to freely sag off him and pack the paint. He briefly reinvented himself as a facilitator on 11/18 vs OKC, logging 11 points and 6 assists. Despite shooting a frosty 1-for-5 from beyond the arc in that contest, his unexpected drive-and-kick playmaking kept the offense flowing and earned him a +0.4 Impact score.

Jordan Hawkins spent the middle of the winter trapped in a miserable offensive slump, looking completely lost as a bench floor-spacer. The absolute nadir arrived on 01/03 vs POR, where he hoisted up four empty shots and grabbed a single rebound across 16 agonizing minutes. That completely invisible offensive outing saddled him with a catastrophic -22.2 Impact score, reflecting a player who was actively harming his team's spacing and flow. Even when his shot occasionally fell, like during a 10-point outing on 12/03 vs MIN, his one-dimensional play dragged him down to a -6.8 Impact score. He failed to record a single rebound or assist in 22 minutes that night, offering zero resistance or playmaking when the ball was not in his hands. He finally found a way to contribute without filling it up on 01/10 vs WAS. Despite scoring just seven points, Hawkins scrapped for four rebounds and dug in defensively to earn a +3.5 Impact score, a rare flash of two-way utility in an otherwise bleak stretch of basketball.

Jordan Hawkins spent the bulk of this stretch buried at the end of the rotation before suddenly erupting into a high-volume offensive focal point in April. During his mid-winter exile, he was essentially a ghost on the floor, logging a dismal -15.5 Impact score on 02/20 vs MIL while failing to record a single point, rebound, or assist in five empty minutes. His minutes finally expanded in late March, setting the stage for a spectacular outburst on 04/07 vs UTA. He torched the Jazz for 25 points on blistering 11-of-16 shooting, generating a massive +23.4 Impact score because his elite scoring was paired with active rebounding and crisp passing. The magic eventually wore off. Promoted to the starting lineup on 04/12 vs MIN, Hawkins managed 13 points but still dragged the team down with a -4.8 Impact score. That negative mark stemmed directly from brutal shot selection, as he clanked his way to a 4-for-18 shooting night that completely stalled the offensive flow.
