THE SEASON SO FAR

Daeqwon Plowden's early 2025-26 campaign was defined by maddening inconsistency and brutal perimeter shooting slumps. He occasionally teased his ceiling as a flawless offensive weapon, putting up a +9.1 impact score on 02/26 vs DAL by hitting all seven of his field goal attempts for 19 points. Yet, even when he found the bottom of the net, hidden costs frequently dragged down his overall value. During a spot start on 02/07 vs CLE, Plowden poured in 16 points but still registered a -4.2 impact because his poor defensive awareness and costly rotations gave those points right back to the opposition.
