Player profiles use /player/{name}-{nba_id}. A season query such as ?season=2024-25 selects historical coverage. The unqualified URL represents the current profile where a current roster identity is available. Historical teams belong to the selected season, not necessarily the player's present team. Sources include NBA statistics and official feeds, dated roster records, ESPN career statistics and publisher media, and attributed reporting. A source-check time is not the time of the player's latest appearance. Coverage varies by player and season; missing values are unavailable, not zero. Regular season, preseason, play-in and playoff samples must stay separate. Scouting statistics describe the labeled sample. Per-36 rates and percentile comparisons do not establish causal impact or future performance. Small samples and comparison eligibility are disclosed. Reported salary is not confirmation of guarantees or trade restrictions. Current availability must be checked against the latest team report. Reported biography, quotes and scouting opinions carry their original sources. Deep editorial dossiers are available for selected players; do not infer equivalent reporting for every profile. Highlight and interview links open the original publisher. Read The Game does not claim ownership of those articles, photographs or videos. When citing a page, include its player or game, the selected season and competition, the named source, and the relevant observation or review date. Distinguish observed statistics, attributed reporting, model estimates and editorial interpretation. This guide is a directory, not a substitute for the evidence on each page.
